Assessment Each module shall be assessed through continuous assessment and a formal examination at the end of each semester. Continuous assessment shall consist of at least two written assignments and one three-hour examination paper shall be written for each module at the end of each semester. Pre addressed envelopes are available for students who are not residents of Windhoek. Assignments for Windhoek students must submit their assignments by the reception and make sure that they have registered on the list. Students are not allowed to drop assignments by the gate. Submission of wrong assignments is not accepted, therefore students who submit wrong assignments will be nullfied. Care must be taken to ensure the student and course numbers appear in the top right hand corner of the cover page. No extra marks are awarded for borders or coloured covers. Handwritten and late assignments will not be accepted. The final mark is made up the continuous assessment (40%) and examination (60%). To qualify for examination, the student must have a minimum of 40% in continuous assessment. A sub-minimum mark of 40% is required to pass the examinations in each module. Students need to obtain an overall mark of 50% in order to pass the module.
